Welcome to the New Paradise.
Public Colossal
Curated by Blanca de la Torre

Welcome to the New Paradise is a multimedia project that explores and deconstructs the impact of people’s daily interaction with signage as psychological symbolism. This project deals with domesticity, contemporary Western societies, and the wild natures lurking in all of us, constructing a new fiction, a new mythology, and ultimately an alternate reality, reflecting, in full, the symbolism of diurnal realities.
Welcome to the New Paradise is conceived as a three-part project: a public space piece in Brooklyn, a site-specific at Governors Island, and a solo show at White Box.
